Presented the title of "Sangeetha Kalaajothi" on 22 September 2025 during Navaratri celebrations, in recognition of achievements and contributions as a growing musician in the Fine Art of Music.
Academic Excellence
Abesha has pursued formal graded examinations in Carnatic music, achieving distinctions that reflect her rigorous training and deep understanding of the tradition.
Abesha has successfully completed the Grade 6 Vocal Examination at Thamil Isai Kalaa Manram, marking an important milestone in her formal Carnatic vocal education. Through years of dedicated learning, regular practice, and performance, she has developed a strong foundation in Carnatic vocal music and continues to pursue higher levels of musical knowledge and expertise.
Following her Grade 6 studies, Abesha is currently pursuing the Teacher Grade in Carnatic Vocal. Her goal is to continue developing both her performance abilities and her deeper understanding of Carnatic music, while working toward the knowledge and skills required to share this beautiful musical tradition with future generations.
From student to performer, and now toward becoming a teacher — Abesha's Carnatic music journey continues.
